This document is intended to inform you of the policy pursued by RecycleMe regarding the protection of personal data and the rights relating to the protection of personal data.

2. Definitions and Scope
2.1 Definitions
- “Entity”: refers to the RecycleMe entity
- “Assignment”: refers to a service agreed between a client and the RecycleMe entity to provide assistance to the client in accordance with the agreed terms;
- “Candidate”: refers to a person wishing to join the RecycleMe entity;
- “Employee”: refers to a person who has joined the RecycleMe entity and is currently part of the entity;
- “Former Employee”: refers to a person who joined the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs) but is no longer part of the workforce following termination of contract by the employee or the entity;
- “User”: refers to a person with no connection to any of the entities (neither candidate nor employee), using the website and leaving their contact details to be contacted;
- “Client”: refers to a person in a direct commercial relationship with the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- “Prospect”: refers to a person in commercial contact with the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- “Partners”: refers to a person who has established commercial, editorial or technological partnerships with the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- “Sub-contractor”: refers to any company that may be required to process Personal Data on behalf of the RecycleMe entity in accordance with its instructions.
2.2 Scope
The Data Protection Policy applies to:
- Employees and former employees of the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- Candidates applying for a position within the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- Persons working as sub-contractors for the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- Clients of the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- Prospects of the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- Partners of the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs);
- Users of the RecycleMe entity’s websites.
By giving your explicit consent to this Data Protection Policy, you accept that your personal data is made available to the RecycleMe entity and the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs, in accordance with the conditions defined in this policy.

4. How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?
Spontaneous collection:
At the initiative of a website user submitting their CV with a view to being contacted, or at the initiative of persons responsible for candidate searches to meet a business need. The search is conducted via public social networks. At this stage, individuals identified cannot be considered as candidates and the public information gathered is not recorded in the company’s information system.
Collection during a preliminary interview:
During a job interview, personal data may be collected and recorded in the information system to support the recruitment tracking process. Collection will be validated with the candidate beforehand. The candidate will have been informed of their data protection rights and remedies and the means of exercising them.
Collection upon recruitment:
Upon signing the contract to join the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs), the personal information necessary for the administrative or commercial management of the employee will be collected and recorded in the information system. The employee will have been informed of their data protection rights and remedies and the means of exercising them.
Collection at the initiative of the employee:
An active employee of the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs) may add to or modify their personal data. The data that may be modified concerns the person’s identity, place of residence, qualifications, languages spoken, skills and CV. Secure access (login/password) is required to access this modifiable personal data. The employee is informed of their data protection rights and remedies and the means of exercising them.
Collection at the initiative of a client or prospect:
Via one of the website’s contact forms, for the purpose of contacting the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs) or accessing premium content that requires user identification.
Collection at the initiative of a partner:
Via one of the website’s contact forms, for the purpose of contacting the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs).
5. What Information Do We Collect?
Among the Personal Data collected directly from you during an interview, we may collect the following data: surname, first name, maiden name, gender, postal address, nationality, legal information relating to residency in France (residence permit number, date of issue), level of education and qualifications, email address, IBAN, number of children, family situation, date and place of birth, social security number, telephone number.
We may also collect Personal Data indirectly from websites on which you have made your information available (LinkedIn, etc.). In such cases, the data collected would be limited to the data made available.
For What Purpose(s) Do We Collect Your Data?
The Personal Data we collect directly from you, notably upon recruitment or during annual reviews, may be processed for the following purposes:
- Processing No. 1 — Recruitment of new employees: Search for profiles on social networks, interviews to assess technical and functional skills, evaluation of interpersonal skills and motivations.
- Processing No. 2 — Search for assignments: Search for client assignments.
- Processing No. 3 — Employee departure: Employee resignation, end-of-contract procedure.
- Processing No. 4 — Payroll processing: Calculation of remuneration and transmission of pay slips.
- Processing No. 5 — Employee career development: Monthly committee to review career development wishes.
- Processing No. 6 — Management of employee training needs: Monthly committee to review employees’ training wishes or needs.
- Processing No. 7 — Disciplinary interview: Interview conducted following a breach by an employee.
- Processing No. 8 — Entity management: Production of operational monitoring data for the establishment of entity management dashboards.
- Processing No. 9 — Response to legal obligations: Transmission of required information to supervisory bodies.
For Clients and Prospects: B2B commercial prospecting by telephone or email campaigns, satisfaction surveys, management of internal and external events, exchange of prospect contacts between the various group entities and with partners.
For Partners: Partner management, exchange of partner contacts with our clients and prospects, management of internal and external events.
How Long Is Your Personal Data Retained?
7.1 According to Your Profile and the Type of Personal Data

a) Employees and former employees:
- Personal data: 1 year from the end of contract
- Pay slips: 5 years from the end of contract
- Periodic evaluation documents (project sheet, annual review): until the employee’s resignation
- Disciplinary files, training records: until the employee’s resignation
- Badge data (for relevant employees): 3 months
- Telephone data (for relevant employees): 3 months
- Documents relating to employment contracts (including amendments): 5 years from the end of contract
- Dismissal notification letter: 5 years from the end of contract
- Final settlement receipt: 5 years from the end of contract
b) Candidates:
- CV: two years after last contact with explicit consent
- Cover letter: two years after last contact with explicit consent
- Interview notes, assessments, tests: two years after last contact with explicit consent
- Personal data: two years after last contact with explicit consent
c) Clients / Prospects: 3 years from collection or last exchange with our client / prospect
d) Partners: 3 years from collection or last exchange with the partner
8. Who Has Access to Your Personal Data?
Access to your Personal Data is restricted to certain duly authorised employees, based at the Group’s registered office and assigned to HR, Marketing/Communications, Administration or commercial functions, and only on a need-to-know basis. They are subject to a strict obligation of confidentiality.
Sub-contractors or service providers engaged in technical services, analytical solution providers, etc., may also have access.
Our partners, in the context of joint Marketing/Communications/Commercial activities, may also have access.
9. ransfer of Your Personal Data
We inform you that your personal data, limited to your “professional experience”, may be transferred to one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs as part of the search for assignments. Such transfer will take place with the consent of the person concerned. The entity receiving the personal data is subject to the same Data Protection Policy.
10. Your Rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and the right to define instructions regarding the fate of your data in the event of your death, as well as a right to data portability.

10.2 Supporting Documents
In accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 2007-451 of 25 March 2007 amending Decree No. 2005-1309 of 20 October 2005 implementing Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, any request to exercise one of your rights must be accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing the holder’s signature. Your request must also specify the address to which the response should be sent.
We will have one (1) month from receipt of the request to respond to you. This period may be extended by two (2) months depending on the complexity and number of requests.
These rights are not absolute: they may be exercised within the legal framework provided and within the limits of these rights. In some cases, we may not be in a position to respond favourably to your request (legal obligation, compliance with our commitments to you, etc.). If this is the case, we will communicate the reason(s) for this refusal.
10.3 Right of Access, Rectification or Erasure
As an employee, you may access the Personal Data we have collected directly from your management in order to rectify, complete or erase any inaccurate information.
You have the right to erasure of your Personal Data when:
- It is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed; or
- You have objected to such processing and there is no overriding legitimate reason justifying this processing; or
- The Personal Data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation under Union or Member State law.
As a candidate or user (see paragraph on definitions), you may withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data held by one of the entities of Valorie without restriction.
10.4 Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to obtain restriction of processing when one of the following conditions applies:
- You contest the accuracy of the Personal Data; or
- The processing is unlawful and you object to the erasure of your Personal Data and request restriction of its use instead; or
- The RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs) no longer needs the Personal Data for the purposes of processing, but it is required by you for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or
- You have objected to processing and a verification must be carried out as to whether the legitimate grounds of the RecycleMe entity (or one of the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs) override your own.
10.5 Right to Data Portability
You have the right to data portability, i.e. to receive the Personal Data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller. To exercise your right to data portability, please contact us via one of the means made available to you in paragraph 10.1.
10.6 Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of difficulties, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
10.7 Instructions Regarding the Fate of Your Personal Data After Your Death
You have the right to define instructions regarding the fate of your Personal Data after your death. To exercise this right, please send us an email at :
- With the subject line: “Instructions regarding the fate of my Personal Data after my death”;
- Indicating the person(s) authorised to act on your behalf in the event of your death, as well as the instructions you wish us to comply with.
In the event that an employee dies without having left instructions regarding the fate of their Personal Data after their death, the heirs of the deceased may request erasure of the deceased’s data following the completion of all necessary formalities, by contacting us by email at .
11. How Is Your Personal Data Secured?
The RecycleMe entity and the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs ensure that your data is processed with complete security and confidentiality, including when certain operations are carried out by sub-contractors or partners. To this end, appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration and deletion of personal data concerning you. These measures are adapted according to the level of sensitivity of the data processed and the level of risk presented by the processing or its implementation.
12. Updates to This Policy
This Personal Data Protection Policy will be subject to annual review and may be amended in the event of a significant change to the regulatory framework or new provisions implemented within the RecycleMe entity and the Group entities to which RecycleMe belongs.
